ClawMagic is self-hosted on your computer or a server — running on localhost. This means the AI can run commands, open browsers, open folders and files, and take real action on your machine. Anything your computer can do, the AI can manage or control. For production use, run on a dedicated machine (many teams use a Mac mini).

Security Is Required
This does require security to be put in place. We did what we could to add security controls and offer training and documentation — but you are responsible for your own environment. Be careful.

We recommend treating ClawMagic like a real person. That means their own email, their own permissions, and their own accounts. For example, if you share Dropbox, they would create their own Dropbox account — and then you provide the access you want to give them.
