Hey, I’m Shawn.

Thanks for taking a minute to read this. I wanted to share who I am and why I’m building ClawMagic. Not the pitch-deck version. The real one.

I’ve been writing code professionally for about 20 years. I started at AT&T and IBM, then spent a long stretch in agency consulting, building prototypes, shipping production systems, and supporting Magento 2 ecommerce environments. The kind of work where “it works on my machine” means nothing once real customers hit it.

When COVID hit, I shifted to helping engineering companies keep their businesses alive. That meant launching ecommerce solutions fast so companies could stabilize revenue while the world was figuring itself out. I did that for about five years.

Along the way, I built an SEO Engine, a Coding Engine, and Testing tools inside Google Sheets. We successfully launched those on AppSumo and other platforms. That experience taught me what an autonomous workstation could actually feel like when you stop overthinking it and just build the thing.

That’s what became ClawMagic.

I want to be clear: ClawMagic was not forked from OpenClaw and does not use its code. I studied OpenClaw alongside other claw-based projects, then combined those learnings with my own experience building the Google Sheets tools to create something new from the ground up.

Why a marketplace?

Here is the bottom line. AI is changing everything, and a lot of people are stressed about jobs, income, and what comes next. I get it. That stress is real.

This economy is for all of us. I will give back as much as I possibly can as we work together. And as your business grows, I hope you’ll consider ways you can give back too.
